The book 'GOMA TIMES' is a collection of 24 short stories. It reflects the essence of childhood of every child.The word 'GOMA' is a collection of two words, GOURI-BARI and MANICKTALA.These words are the names of two places in North Kolkata. First two alphabets are taken from each word and later joined to form the word 'GOMA'. These two places are connected to all most every story in this book. The map in the book would provide the readers, a great help to locate the exact places, mentioned in the stories.My life experience, mostly revolve around these two places.
